Reel Brum is proud to launch Open Door; a fund for new and emerging West Midlands filmmakers.   After the overwhelming interest in our Twelfth Film fund last year and how proud we are of the winning film 'The Shelves' we've expanded and renamed the fund to benefit even more applicants.

• 3x £1000 grants (3 x films)
• Applications can be from anybody (Writer, Director, Producer etc.) as long as lead applicant is from the Reel Brum network (either on mailing list or part of Whatsapp group)
• Applications must include; a proposed budget, synopsis and treatment or (at least first draft) of screenplay, of no more than 15 pages
• List of any confirmed cast/crew (of which at least 50% must be West Midlands based)
• List of any confirmed/potential locations (of which at least 50% must be within the West Midlands region)
