Are you ready for Reel Brum's first 48 Hour Filmmaking Challenge?

Your 3 prompts are:

  1. Words/Dialogue/Action (Pick 2)

  • Alright Bab

  • Bab

  • Mom (not Mum)

  • Cob

  • Brum/Brummie

  • Bostin

  • Pop (Fizzy Drink)

  • Barmy

  • Ozzy

  • More canals than Venice

  • Any old iron call

  • Gambol (Bonus point if you perform a Gambol)

  1. Must feature a Birmingham Brand

Can be big brands or independents.

Examples (but feel free to find your own):

  1. Birmingham location or Birmingham celebrity

We don’t expect you to get a Birmingham celebrity to appear in the short (but if you can, that would be amazing!), but if you can get a reference in the dialogue or them on TV in the background or some other super imaginative way to include them. They can be someone famous or infamous, a proper bona fide TV celebrity or someone from a well known Birmingham meme.

We understand that filming in public at busy locations may be difficult in the time frame, so we will also accept reference in the script or an image in the background.
